Bushing at the end of shifter.......where to get?
When my car is in gear, I can move the shifter side to side. I installed the Energy Suspension shift linkage stabilizer kit this weekend, but it did nothing for this problem.
Do I need to buy a new shifter, or can I buy the bushing that sits at the end of the shift lever? What do most people do? I don't feel that I need a short throw, I just want to get rid of this looseness.
Edit: Yes, I searched. I had even bumped a thread to try and get an answer to this, but it didn't work.

Are u talking about the "play" in the stick when it's in gear... every honda I've owned has had a little bit of it - even w/ a short throw. It's normal, don't worry about it.

Go to Honda and it's two pieces. There is a rubber boot then a white plastic piece that fits around the ball of the shifter. I replaced mine and it was like 20.00. It made all the differance in the world. No more sideways play and the shifter clicks right into gear.
