BURNT CLUTCH or TRANNY MALFUNCTION??
this has been happening for awhile now but im not sure if its my clutch going out. my engagement point on my clutch it like 90% out from all the way in. i dont even have to step on my clutch all the way to shift. i just tap the clutch actually. when i try to gas it my car just revs higher so i can only gas it only a little bit till it gets up to a good speed. it kinda feels like my clutch is slipping or just wearing out. i have a jdm d15bvtec with a cx tranny. and i still have the same clutch that the engine came with. What do u guys think???

clutch is shot. It's slipping under higher power thats why when you try to get on it it just rev's higher.. the clutch slips allowing the crank to turn faster w/o the trans/wheels turning any faster.
think about whether you're gunna get a flywheel at the same time or not...

Depends on how long. THe longer you do with a shot clutch, the more its gonna where off the flywheel. Or more "hot spots", anyways you will have to turn it. Sometimes its better to just get a new flywheel.
