Burnout= Worn clutch??

Default Burnout= Worn clutch??

Ok I have a clutchmaster Stage 3 Clutch in my civic and two days ago I did a nice burn out and now my clutch is grabbing right at the end like it is going out. The bitch only has 3000 miles on it. Any ideas?

are you sure your tires were smoking and not your clutch? Doesn't normally happen unless you don't break in the clutch correctly, but it does happen. Heard a story a while back about this happening to a twin disk clutch.

Clutch was not slammed or raced at all for 2500 miles.

Clutchmaster flywheel also *** i am just going to get a act stage 2 Ive always hated clutchmaster anyway. I got the clutch for like $100 brand new

Dnt do burnouts. But was the clutch installed properly?Flywheel resurfaced?
And you are positive that you were doing a burnout and not a clutch out?

dont be scared, this dude just messed up his clutch, its not the clutch quaultity.

I was definately doing a burnout. The flywheel and clutch kinda made some noices like they were grinding against eachother. And for the past couple of weeks the clutch has been ground a little bit considering second gear syncro going bad.

ok...the clutch does rub against the flywheel, it's actually mounted to it. That is how the transmission is engaged and disengaged.

I think your clutch is just fucked.

how do you break in a clutch? no high revving for the first 3k?
