burned bumpers
this is what i want to avoid, im putting a y8 in finally and i wanted to run something not as noticable like a es oval and paint it flat black, but i kinda want a skunk 2 or a apexi system, but don't want horrible looking ex. marks all over the bumper. any way to avoid this mess? maybe angle of muffler? any help will be great i havn't decided on a color yet but i don't want a new paint job just to have it royally screwed.
sorry in advance for rambiling, misspellings, and run ons, it's late and i can't sleep
and thanks in advance

Re: burned bumpers (no-tec)
what are you concerned about putting marks on your bumper??
the exhaust fumes (if so then you're probobly running too rich or don't wash your car enough)...
Or the tip bumping it?

Re: burned bumpers (no-tec)
If the muffler tip touches the rear bumper, put something inside the rubber muffler hangers to extend it down. This will then lower the muffler, so it doesn't touch the rear bumper. Use zip-ties to secure whatever you placed inside the rubber hangers. (Make sure to really tighten the zip-ties.) This is what I did for my A'PEXi N1, and it worked great for the two years I had it like that.
