Default Bumper stolen from local crowded mall in broad daylight... HOW?!?!

My exgirlfriends 95 Civic Sedan was parked in front of Proffit's last week at one of the local malls, and she came out to find that the window was busted out, and her blitz front bumper had been removed... WTF?!? This mall is in a fairly decent if not the safest/least criminal activity area in Knoxville. It happened in broad daylight between 2-5 on a Wednesday. Go Rent-A-Cops!!! How the **** could that happen, and no one see it?? She has tons of CD's. and a brand new Sony deck, that they didn't even touch. Not to mention the few "performance" parts under the hood... Just the front bumper... How long would it take to have it completely off?? It was professionaly installed by a body shop. It didn't flap around in the wind or anything, it looked like it was on there good...

Yup it doesnt take me much more than a minute to take mine off either. Especially with a battery powered screwdriver.

Maybe they were nice enough to close the hood for him? He said the busted out a window so Ill assume they opened the hood and removed them that way, theres what 5 screws there and one on each whealwell, so yea 1 minute to take it off expecially with power tools.

What he said. Did they leave the bolts or are those gone too?

I had a kid tell me he knew a few people that stole bumpers by just going up and ripping them off of the cars.
