Default Bumper Burn

I have a 98 Civic Ex i recently put an aero speed muffler on it but the tip was short I wanted it to sit in the stock position but the fumes are fading out my bumper. What should I do?

really the only thing you can do if have the muffler shop pull it out a little bit so that it dont burn your bumper
