Built SOHC block
Lets start off with what is done to the block...
hot tanked block, water pump, oil pump, honed the block
-SRP 9.1:1 Pistons
-Eagle Rods
-Polished Crank

And here is what its taking the place of...
the Engine Hoist rope had some problems and we got lucky it came out at all...
Yea!
I cleaned the engine bay with simple Green, not blang blang but much better...

Now to the good stuff
Runs Great, As of now having some problems but they should be fixed very soon. I will have some New pictures whenver i get around to washing the car again, but for now this will do...

what other mods are you running besides whats in the block? looks good so far..trying to convince a friend to build a sohc since he has the d16z6 laying around..

Nice job on the build. I want to know if you honed the cylinders yourself. If so, what kind of tool did you use and where did you get it? I'm also in the process of building my z6 bottom end.

You are correct, my physics professor is wrong . 1 bar = 14.7psi.

Cause Eagles are too wide for the small 75mm bore of a D series. I had to notch my block for the Eagles to fit. Wider and stronger instead of skinny and weak to fit like the stock rods.

let me guess, H-beam rods?
the d-series block can't accept aftermarket h-beam rods, but stock style rods will fit fine
