Built motor on stock muffler question's...
Will running a stock muffler on a built motor cause any damage? Like can too much back pressure lead to engine damage? I have a cut out and will be tuning open header, but after that i'd like to run my car w/ the stock muffler just so I can keep the car quiet. My loud exhaust is getting old to me and I know a stock muffler would be a great relief. I know i'll be losing power by running on a stock muffler but if I have an electric cut out I can just run open header if I have the need for full power(at the track most likely).
Also, if i do this, will a stock muffler bolt up to my current HKS Hiper b-pipe or will I need to run a stock bpipe w/ the stock muffler?
BTW i've had an Apexi WS and loved it while I had it but I feel running a stock exhaust setup+electric cutout would be a cheap alternative to buying a full Apexi WS exhaust.

You should have no problems runing the stock muffler..its gonna be "buzzy" though... and your muffler should bolt to the aftermarket mid pipe
