Built H22 EG Hatch running STOCK MUFFLER????????
I have a fully built H22A vtec motor, here are the goodies:
Skunk2 cams
Skunk2 gears
Skunk2 Valvetrain
JDM Pistons
Ported and Polished Intake Manifold
Full MSD Ignition
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Regulator
440cc Injectors
Quaiffe LSD Tranny Custom built
Intake, Headers, 2.5 inch piping to a high flow cat to a STOCK PRELUDE MUFFLER!!!
Heres my question, how much HP gains or power gains am I looking at if I switch to a straight through performance muffler? I feel like the car is choking at high rpm's and it feels restricted

Not to be an *** or anything, but this is far from "fully" built. The stock muffler is killing you. The stock units are choked up from the beginning due to EPA regulations and noise control. There's a reason why there are so many different aftermarket exhausts. Keep in mind all the work you did to the head is going to increase airflow into the motor. That air needs to exit somewhere.
