building h22a

so i decided to go turbo with my h22a. But i'm not planning on doing that until early next year because of the money issue. I was hoping to get about mid 300's hp. I'm new to this car scene and people told me since i'm planning on boosting my car that i should start building my interanls. Get everything thats low compression a friend told me. Don't really know what tha means. But does anybody have any suggestions on what parts i should buy for my car so once i'm ready to turbo it i can juss fit it in. Thanks!!!

you mistook honda-tech for a personal shopping service.

if you aren't doing it for a year why don't you take the time to research? the search button above in red is a great start.

do you just want to get into the 300hp range OR do you want to do it by going turbo?

ohh thanks... i was thinking about building my internals then eventually going turbo. But i'm not sure about the turbo. But i wanted to start building my internals so if i decided to go turbo i can just put it in....

With a good tuner who knows how to boost frm sleeves an h22 can easily make 300whp on stock internals.

I'm trying to think of the user, but he made ~377whp ~300tq on stock internals with a euro-r manifold and some good cams.

S2000's, nsx's, and celica gts's all have frm sleeves and people have been boosting them for years. The ringlands aren't so much of an issue anymore with how tuning has progressed. (so I hear)

IMO, leave the internals alone and start with a Euro-R manifold off of an f20b or type-s (UK) and get a good set of cams, and a good tuner. 220whp can be easily attained and set you into the low 12's.
