building custom exaust
does any one have a link with a design for a custom exhaust on a 95 hatch? i don't want a full straight pipe as the car is driven on the street.
thanks. |
Re: building custom exaust (278civ)
why aren't you just buying one?
|
cause its alot cheaper

Re: (278civ)
if you're getting mandrel bent piping and a descent muffler, i don't think it'll be a lot cheaper. and if you're not using mandrel bent piping, its not really worth it. plus you wouldn't have stainless. but anyway, if you insist on doing it that way just do it, get under the car, take some measurements and go for it. i doubt theres a guide for something like that, people just make them. so i suggest you do the same

thanks for the advice

Re: (278civ)
Go to Kteller.com man.
He sells piping in bulk (you can form your own exaust) or he has his own kits with all the necessary bends in it. I think they even come with an optional muffler. There you go. http://www.kteller.com/store/i...6780b |
Re: (278civ)
It is definately not cheaper and the finished product will not even be close to the quality of a pre made one. besides there are like 10 million different exhausts out there for your car. Are you going to buy the 10 dollar fart can from ebay and some crush bent piping? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif

You can always make it out from PVC piping. Cheapest way. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
