Default building a civic from ground up

Hi, i'm a brand new user, and I was interested in building a civic for myself. i just wanted everyone's opinion on what the best engine to use was for a 99 coupe body. or, what your opinion is on the lightest stock frame there is and what engine to use for that. please let me know and give me any tips you pros have! thanks!
