Re: Building for cheap..... (kent)
Yes SOHC.....everything is pretty much done now...just have to get the guages working and put the clutch in, the car is faster then it was by far...i agree with that the Gredy isnt the fastest but I dont know much yet and it was a package deal and wasnt that hard to install, and anything putting more boost to my car I know I would blow it up. This is my first project and I know know what kind of power I can get so I will keep this until Im done with school and then its time to build something for speed. THanks for all the responces!

Re: Building for cheap..... (BDTURBO)
sounds like a good setup. I would recommend the following which you can do for pretty cheap
- d16y8 intake manifold (just saw one go on ebay for $56). it flows better than any other d-series manifold
- b16/b18/h22 throttle body. They bolt right onto the z6/y8 manifolds and are larger bore (60mm for b-series, 62mm for h-series, only 56mm for d-series). I just bought one on ebay for $36 shipped.
- crower/skunk2 turbo cam w/adjustable cam gear. this will be a little more expensive. around $400 for both.
