Icon6 Build for my ek!!

So im in dilemma with what motor i want to swap into my ek... I want to go B series with either a b16a or a b18c. I am going for turbo and looking for around 450 whp somewhere around there. I dont want k series so dont suggest that but please help me decide which motor!!!

gsr.
i would do pistons,rods.
and go threw and repalce seals, etc. just freshen her up, and make sure to get the block honed if you repalce the pistons/rings

B18, like 98civdx said though i would go through and replace the seals and gaskets when you replace the piston/rods etc. It will only be reliable if you take the time to build it right.

What is your wallet saying??

Judging from the HP numbers your pockets must be decently deep and I would personally go with a B16 but that is my prefference. I just like it cause it's rev happy.

Most will tell you B18c1 cause it's a little better and have more capabilities with it when compared to the B16 but see what you can find or what is available on your neck of the woods.

Get what you want not what others tell you, don't follow the bandwagon on anything instead make your own path cause it's your car.

I would go with the b16 as well. That's just because I like to rev like "crx t-si". Really though. the block doesn't matter if your plan on a sleeved one. Then you can attain the same displacement with either. With 10 g's, you should get more than 450. Especially if you build it yourself. GL man!
