Default And the build begins!!!

Well lets start off with the car, its a 1995 honda civic hatchback cx. I originally got it out of OK for 800 bucks, little did I know at the time that it had been flooded so threw the years I have cleaned layers of dirt out of the interior from the flood. well After i graduated I got the turbo setup and put 305whp and 245ftlbs down, which was sweet but I am still driving a P.O.S., its so depressing and after a while my head started ticking a little not really unexpected who knows how many miles where on that motor when I got it 3 years ago. First I was just going to pull the head and get it p&p and springs, retainers, yadayadayada but another build thread on here inspired me to go ahead and tear down and start the full build paint, body work, rebuild motor, and a turbo with a little bit heavier trim like .60 or .70. ultimate goal is just 400whp, I am not trying to have a ridiculous amount of power when I just want to daily drive it so anyway here are some pics and this could be a long build but it will be done right so its worth it and besides I convinced my wife to get me a rhd eg in the spring for dd for now.

thanks for looking and I will post new pics as is goes. and if anybody is feelin froggy then go ahead and bash if you want but know I didnt post for opinions just thought I may post my struggles along the way.

Yea the primer thing is the whole reason I am doing this cause you never really can get all the body work done doing it a little at a time or little here and there. so hopefully it being down will give me a new boost of urge to get it done real quick and get it painted! yea the rhd civic had to be approved by upper managment or else my a$$ would be on the coach!!!

Yea I guess 400whp is alot comparative but in the big picture its still daily drivable without alot of problems so. I gues in my mind a ridiculous amount would be 600+, even 500 is starting to bend the line a little.

Yea I have rocked the wheels for a minute now, I am kinda of a flashy rims kind of guy. I used to rock some 18"s on a ek. I know there not the best in the world but originally I had some nice wheels but went to go change lanes behind a 18 wheeller and bam!! hit a 4x4 piece of wood. pretty much took care of that set and went in to get new ones and they were messed up and had to settle cause I just wanted some black wheels with a polished lip but got a little pushed around by discount (they tried to screw me) anyway its fine, I got to get some new wheels anyway I am trying to get a wider tire and will need to get a diffrent offset to make sure that they fit properly.

I know there is alot of people out there with swaps and used to 140whp but there is so much more and yes 400 is alot but not at the same time. I am just talking about a conservitave build nothing to crazy that could make 6-800 hp. once you get a turbo on your swap you will realize what a f'in grocery getter it used to be. I never forget watchin a video of me going down the track and with just a stock gsr swap. I ran a 9.5 in the 1\8th but damn it looked like I was going like 40mph down the track.
