Default On A Budget, Need a Car , Need Guidance =(

hello everyone, this is my first post..

guys im looking for a daily car to use, but still i want to
do some performance into it so what do you guys suggest
me to get?? well my friend told me to get the 4 door model of
the EG6 for some reasons, well im looking forward to swap the motor
after i have more money later on

however for now i just want a car with an cheap spareparts
especially the body parts. well just want a honda actually

im just wondering, which honda stock motor has the potential
to be modified for performance without adding too much money
before i do the actual swap

well here comes the number..
2-3k

so what do you guys suggest me to get ??

thanks !!!...appreciete it !!

I'd say go w/ a Si Hatch or EX Coupe or 4 door (anything w/ a Z6 than boost that) or if you could find a DX , LX , Etc model you could do a Mini-Me for cheap than boost it .

Either way just boost the D , hope my info was somewhat helpful ...

I love my 4 door EG. You should be able to find one in your price range. Mine has 120xxx miles on it and runs great. Get a DX it will be the cheapest. They aren't that fast but they are fun to drive.

I see your from Lakewood, I'm down in Marysville.

I have an EJ1 (2 door EX coupe). A z6 is a motor, a d16z6 which a SOHC VTEC, it can be a good motor if boosted. A mini-me is when you swap a D series (SOHC) motor into a car, usually people do a d16z6, d15b (JDM VTEC motor) or a d16y8 (the y8 is the EX motor for the EK chassi 96-00).

If you need any help, PM me and we can meet up and what not.

because this is a civic forum and most here believe accord and performance do not go together
