Hey guys, since theres so many posts on here at any given time I figured I'd stick my two quick questions in here together:

1. How many quarts of fluid fills a JDM Y21 B16A tranny? (Ive seen 1.9 and 2.1... one will require me to purchase 2 bottles and the other 3 obviously)

2. Do the 4th gear synchros from a B18B S80 transmission interchange with the 4th gear synchros from a Y21 B16A transmission (incase my issue isn't just a bent shift linkage... I can see the bend in it so that will be replaced tomorrow.)

That explains a few things... when my tranny was filled after 5th gear was swapped they only put 2 in. Thanks. I'm hoping to get my transmission to shift a little smoother and hopefully fix up a slight grind going into 4th at high rpms, or atleast make it survive daily driving until the fall and the beater comes back out. It's cool as long as i can keep it from getting worse.

I have a spare parts tranny that I got my 5th from, thats why I'm wondering if the other synchros are interchangable.
