So, i was showin off and i broke my shifter. I look like a jackass, i know. At any rate, I believe i read something about being able to re thread the shifter and make it functional. is there a write up somewhere about this? is there a thread pitch to keep in mind? thanks in advance.

Might as well buy a new one as they aren't expensive.
If you didn't have a short throw/upgraded bushings in, here is your chance!
