Default Broken Seat Belt

Hey... I had a little accident w/ my car and everything is pretty much up to par except the seat belt wont come out anymore. Ever since the accident I cant get the belt to give me anymore slack. Has anyone had a problem similiar to this and if so can you give me some advice..

Thanks in advance,
-Azn

doesnt honda have a rule about fixing the seatbeat no matter how old the car is because it's a safety issue???? i'm not sure, but you could at least ask the dealer

federal law requires manufacturers to warranty the safety restraints for the life of the car.

i'm wondering, at the dealer i worked at, if the car was in and it was a safety issue, they would normally give you a rental...

but as the previous people have said, its free. a turbo prelude came to my dealership once for the seatbelts, replaced them within a couple days (had to order the part). GOOD LUCK!

what about a seatbelt that works, but doesnt retract all the way cus it gets annoying when you close the door on the belt or the hook up.

when i had a problem with my seats belts they (the dealer) wanted me to pay for some new seats belts first and then tell me at a later date whether my seat belts would be covered under the free seats belt warranty. i said forget it and bought some used ones.
