Default Broken odometer

Hi guys im new here finaly got my very own honda. Got a 1998 Civic EX. Only issue is the odometer doesnt work. Besides that the car is perfect few little dings but hey its used. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Main reason Is I need to keep up with oil changes etc. Speedo works. Honestly It looks like someone tried rolling it back but its still a nice car. If its the gauge cluster how much do those ususaly run.

So you've taken it out of the dash and it looks tampered with? I'd say you'd need a cluster then. I picked one up for $40 a couple months ago, but it depends on which model it came out of. Since it's an EX it might be more expensive because of people wanting them for the tach. I'm not sure if the LX had a tach that year so you might be able to use one of them as well.

Clusters are a dime a dozen. Just get a new one.
