broken motor mount

just replaced the driver side mount on my 96-00 civic DX coupe. The whole rubber inside the mount was torn. Anyone experence the same thing? Is this common with the 6th gen civic's?

If you drive your car hard it isn't common but it can happen. Just get some ES inserts and you will be fine.
