broken interior door lock ****??
mine broke the other day, right where it attaches to the lock rod... i went to the dealership to buy a new one, but they said they could only sell me the entire handle assembly ($80!!!). i check on hondaautomotiveparts.com, and again, only the entire handle assembly was listed. has anyone here ever bought just the ****? or is a junkyard my only hope of being able to lock my car from the inside?

Its a more of a common problem than you would think, especially if you've fitted an aftermarket alarm system.
I got my replacement one from the breakers. My mate got car jacked in his civic while in a car park coz he never bothered fixin his quick enough. The guys just walked up and opened his door!

mine are busted on both sides... thankfully I have keyless entry on my car or I'd have to walk to the other side of the car to lock it everytime I gave someone a ride.

yea i was thinking its about time to get some lock solenoids. i hate having an alarm and still having to use my keys (my friends keep on calling my car ghetto ) however, its a good girlfriend potential test: if i open the door for her, and she reaches over to open my door- she's a keeper
