Default Broken AC bracket bolt

94 hatch with type R.

Two of the front side brackets ( not the mounts ) are missing one bolt each ( bolts that go into the frame). Some people told me they are riding without the AC bracket with no problem.
Guy that did the swap told me to not to hall a@@ in it till I will get my AC mount ( I did not have one before ). Now that I do, it is holding on one bolt, am I ok?? Putting the remaing bolts is a problem due to the rusted nuts that got loose inside the framing.

So???...... Fix it or leave it?

i'd fix it. made a big difference when i put mine in. wasnt using either of the front two mounts for a while, and then got the mounts and AC bracket, and made a huge difference on how stable the motor is on take off and shifting, etc etc.

Here is what I am thinking off:

The top one is the faxtory way of the bolt being mounted inside the frame, the bottom one would be my quick fix Home Depot style fix of the problem.

i mean as long as its secure who cares what it looks like... cover it up with something if you want it to look all pretty... id just go to homedept and get some bolts and washers and a clamp or something.. whatever works but u dont want that **** just hanging in ur engine bay like that

Weld a nut to it...Run your bead inside the nut filling it up to the edge of the nut welding it to the broken piece.
Then just back it out with a wrecnch. You wont hurt the block as it wont weld to the aluminum. I have done this a few times in the past. Always works.
