Broke off valve cover bolt.. AHHHH!!!!!
A few years back I was putting back on my valve cover I over tightened one of my valve cover bolts and broke one off 
It's been fine for years but I noticed that if I ever drive hard, oil splashes out in tiny amounts and makes things dirty
Will a tap kit help with this?

plus one on easy outs. might take some time and be careful but it should work. then i would clean out the threads with a tap and grease. Then if worse comes to worse bust out the drill as the last resort.

i had that happened to me a long time ago. all i did was took a very small screw driver and tap the broken part out till it slowly came out. there is no force on it since the head broke. took me about 5 mins of tapping but it came out no problem.
when i say tap i just mean turn it with the screwdriver on the lower side.
