Broke fuel rail bolt. Is this ok? :(
Well the nut kept turning...
Bolt snapped right off. Is this ok to leave alone or is it gonna cause problems?

you need to replace it since it holds the rail against the injectors, preventing a fuel leak.it's just a stud.pull off the fuel rail, then use a pair of vise grip pliers to turn it out.

Re: (SOHCD16y8)
i don't see how that will cause a fuel leak. it's just holding the injector wires. vibration on the wires will cause a leak?
i don't even have that black injector holder and havn't had a leak for years.
but it's easy to replace so just fix it. good luck.

you are correct.you can see the stud to hold the injector loom right below the hole in the injector loom.

I seen so many of those broken off and no leak except if you missing 2 and if it's the stud to hold the wire then don't worry about it. only way it leak is the seal. 2 Stud holding from each side is perfect.

listen to this guy............you need to replace it or it COULD result in a gas leak and PROBABLY will in the near future.

Theres only 2 studs to mount the fuel rail to.
And yes, I'd replace that fairly quickly, shouldnt be a big deal to do though.

there are three studs that mount the fuel rail.there are two studs that hold the harness loom.

all those three studs do is hold the fuel rail down to provide that seal so that fuel isn't spewing all over the motor as fast as the fuel pump can push it out.it won't leak as long as the two outer studs are still there, but why take a chance?don't be a lazy *** and leave it broke.
