Brembo front rotors dont fit (93 ex coupe)
i just recieved my brembo OE replacement front rotors from IRP (import replacement parts) and they do not fit on my car. the size is right (9.5"), the lug nut pattern is good, but the back of the rotor will not slip over the hub because the diameter is off by about 1/2 a centimeter too small. has anyone else had this problem happen?
what would you all do in this situation.. obviously im going to return these rotors but i need new front brakes (rotors AND pads) to pass the VA safety inspection and id really like to avoid spending $80 a rotor at honda. id like to get this done in the most cost-effective manner for myself, because the car is being sold once i get it through inspection. thanks in advance.

Re: Brembo front rotors dont fit (MGXcoupe)
get a dremmel or rotary grinding tool of some kind and make it fit...thats your best bet if you dont want to spend the money to have the rotors shipped back and all that good stuff...i had to do the same thing to a big brake kit to make em fit my dx hubs...it worked no problem...just becareful not to go too wide...grind, check, grind, check, grind check...till it fits good

9.5" is NOT the correct rotor diameter. ALL Civic EXes from 1990-2000 use the 10.3" front rotors.

Re: Brembo front rotors dont fit (=GAMEOVER=)
damn i some times wonder about this webboard
you need 10.3 inch rotor on your EX. Nothing else will work unless you swap caliphers and brakets.
second you can not fabericate the rotors he has to make them fit unless you can add .8 inches of diameter to them.
92-93 and 94-95 rotor are the same, heck even 92-00 civics are the same.
90-00 Civic Ex, 99-00 Si, and all civics with ABS use the 10.3 front rotor. Other honda product that use that rotor include all 90-01 integra(except Type-R), and all Del Sol Vtec. Honda Part number 45215-SK7-A00
88-00 Dx, 89-00 LX, 88-91 CRX DX and SI, 88-95 SI, ALL VX and CX, and all HX.
These are the cars that use the 9.5 brake rotors. Honda part numbers are 45251-SH3-660(non finished surface) and 45251-SRO-990(finished surface).
also big brake kits are just bling for about %90 of the track cars i know, street cars with decent pads and fluid should never fade and brake with in a couple of feet than a "big brake kit".
