Default break light on but e-brake down

well yep i was driving down the road and the brake light on the dash went on and my e-brake is ALL the way down. i put it up and down several times and it dosent go off. it went off a few days agao at random and now its back on.

whats wrong? i took out my center counsil to look at it and i see the wire and "button" type thing under the e-brake lever. it looks good and the wire seems connected.

what else should i look at?

check your brakes maybe?? your pads might be getting low and the brake fluid would compensate for the play and you get a low fluid.

ill pick up some brake fluid tommorow and a hood latch that i need at the honda dealer so while im down their ill get some fluid if its not to overly priced.

but ya ill let you kow how it goes when i fill it up all the way.

before you get the brake fluid, try to pop the front tires and check the pads for wear. i'm pretty sure that if your pedal didn't go down dramaticly one day i'm pretty sure you don't have a leak or anything.

all my bubls are good too.

fill the fluid and you will be good to go

if you don't have any leaks you may be due for some pads
