Re: Brake Conversion for 95 Civic ex (commotion)
OK i stopped by my local junk yard..
And i picked up the Parts what i got is
Lower Control Arms with Disk Brakes
Attached E brake Cable (I don't think i could use this one)
Front Calipers
Master Cylinder
These items are from a 2000 Teg LS (4 door)
I hope it doesn't matter that it is a 4 door.
Also with these i have these orange Plugs are they for ABS? or what they goto the calipers
The only thing i didnt get is the prop valve which i can get from another car no problem
so is that ls teg Master Cylinder anygood? or is that what i already have? do i need a bigger one?
Anyway i Scored these parts at the local junk yard for 50 bucks for everything..
Thanks Again for your time

i hope you meant that.
but they will all work.
here's a quick guide...
rear....
-start on the inside and disconnect ebrake cables from handle
-unbolt the bolt that connects the upper lca to trailing arm
-unbolt lower lca bolts from trailing arm and shock tower (it makes it easier)
-unbolt where the bushing bolts to the frame (two bolts) and then the last bolt that adjusts the toe
installation is reverse as the removal..and you will have to do a bit of improvisation when it comes to bolting up the new cables
front...
i'm pretty sure you will need the whole front knuckle from an integra but don't quote me on this..
after all that make sure you bleed the brake system from farthest from the master cylinder (as well as the master cylinder i would assume) to the closest.
and an alignment is a must

The EX rotors are the same size, just replace the calipers, pads and caliper brackets.
The HOWTO's on this site do seriously need to be updated. 90% of the pictures are expired. I wouldn't complain so much if most of them weren't like:
"Look to figure A for guidance" :\
