Sorry, I didn't specify.

I mean which brand of gasoline yields you the best mileage in your D16y7?

I get 27mpg rough city diriving with Exxon 87.

What's the point of this? We all have different builds, models, etc and a host of other variables.

maybe he wants to compare those variables too? Intake andd exhaust usually yield better highway mileage for example...

best way to be conservative is lighter right foot.

I used to get 28 drivng spirited, then after changing the fuel filters, and running injector cleaner and something else (STP bright orange bottle and black bottle) ive been getting around 31-32 driving the same way.

tuning will make a HUGE difference too. My jetta ran 13.2s with full interior and got 32-34 MPG driving spirited in teh city. highway mileage sucked for me, but i was usually "on it" often, and my 5th gearr was 1:1, no overdrive...
