Brand New Starter Will Not Turn! Tried EVERYTHING!!!
Okay, it all started when I replaced the pivot bolt in my H22 tranny which I run in my '94 EX Coupe. I forgot to disconnect the ground terminal, which was completely idiotic. The car started and ran great before I dropped the tranny. I put it all back together and the car wouldn't start. It did at one point, but that was once out of 100 tries.
I took the starter back to Advance since its warrantied, and they said it was fried. I put a new one in and it still won't start. I had to move the car, so I caught it in gear and when it ran at higher RPMs it ran great, but when it went below 1,000 RPMs my instrumentation would start to freak out...like the lights would dimmly flash and the speedo would start to bounce all over the place. At this point I checked all the grounds and fuses. I have a Viper Alarm system, and my friend is insisting that it is the problem and he wants me to remove it completely. But I don't see how it would be considering it wasn't touched when I was fixing the car. I don't know what to do next. Is there anything I can do to wire my starter differently for the time being? My starter wire isn't getting any continuity and I need a temporary fix, unless this gets fixed ASAP...
I've run out of ideas, and its starting to become a major issue with my job. Any suggestions would be great. Keep in mind I've ruled out a bad starter, bad grounds, bad fuses, and a bad battery.

Re: Brand New Starter Will Not Turn! Tried EVERYTHING!!! (O RLY)
Okay, minor update. Disconnected the alarm from the ignition switch. Inside the car I tested the black and white wires with a multimeter. I'm geting 12V with the key in the ON position. When I go to start it drops down near 0V. Is this normal. Then I had my sister turn the key while I test the starter wire. Its only getting 3V when she turns the key....

does your alarm disrupts starting the car when its activated? all you need to do is unplug the alarm and try it out. Try that, and get your alternator checked.
