Brand new 2000 Integra type r tranny from acura? LSD?

Im about to buy a ITR transmission from Acura sacramento and the parts people cant give me a 100% on if the tranny has LSD or not?

Do all usdm ITR Have lsd?

I'm not 100% sure but It was my understanding that all LSDs in American cars were options.

All Type Rs in Japan have LSDs.

I know the tranny will have an LSD stamp if it does have an LSD.

yes, all ITR's came w/LSD.
one way to double check is to look through the differential. if you can see clear through it, then it's LSD.

There's no point in teaching someone a dynamic method of diagnosis when it's just as easy to teach them a constant method that always works, regardless of the transmission housing.

Well if it doesnt have lsd than it isnt a type r tranny. Cant you have them look through the diff hole?

They say its a special orderd part (sop) so there is no return, So when i pay thats it

theres some dude thats local that is selling itr tranny brand new in the package. think he was selling for 1100. and us itr tranny is 4.4 final

OK Thanks I wouldnt of tripped on it if i had more money! I orederd it last night so its done. Its just that i Spent 2100 dollars and it took me a while to save it thats all.
