Braking issues on my eg
Well I noticed on my way back from Florida the other day that my car wasn't stopping like it should. About May last year I changed the rotors (brembo blanks) and the pads (axxis metalmasters). However I didn't flush out the fluid and refill it. It's still the same fluid in there from awhile back. To make a long story short, there's usually some pressure that pushes back on your brake pedal when you push it down, but my pedal goes all the way to the floor and takes forever to stop. Anybody got any suggestions on what I can do? I need to drive back home from school on I85 in a couple hours and would like to get this taken care of before I leave.
Thank you H-T

Re: Braking issues on my eg (jolt-tsp)
That's what another person told me...the master cylinder. But like you said hopefully it just needs to be bled. Well all my brake fluid is at home, I guess i'll try the drive, I'll just go really slow. I'll bleed it when I get home and if that doesn't work then i'll know what it is.
Thanks

It sounds like you may have a leak or low fluid level. Check that first. If that's not it, maybe air in the lines?
