Brakes smoking.... HELP
96 Civic EX coupe. Just put new pads on front, bought them from autozone. Before I installed them I noticed how fat they seemed to be, I have done many brake jobs and never seen pads this thick. I had to compress the piston on the front completely and they JUST BARELY fit around the disc. So now they are sticking and dragging and after long drives smoking.
Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS HT>

I've seen to many threads about the dumbasses at Autozone giving people the wrong parts and this will be the 3rd thread about brakes. The only thing autozone is good for is axles.
