Brake squeak??
Ok I changed my brakes about one and a half to two months ago. I changed to pbr metal master pads and brembro rotors (on a 94 civic coupe). Ive been hearing squeaking lately when I brake it wasnt there before. its not all that loud but It's significant. It's driving me crazy. What could it be???
I just changed the front BTW. bled all four.

It's normal to have more noise and dusting with a performance pad. Put some 'brake quiet' gell on the back of the pads, it should help a bit.

Re: Brake squeak?? (EX_AutoXer)
really!? Ok. you say back of the pad? do you mean where the pad makes contact with the rotor? do I take out the pad and put it on? Thanx for the advise though.

No, don't put that stuff on any braking surface. You'll put it on the back of the pad where it contacts the caliper (between the caliper and pad); so you'll have to take the pad out to do it.
It's a gel that will keep the pad seated against the caliper better to prevent it from moving and chattering.
