Default Brake sensor comes on while driving

When I gun it in first and second gear my brake light in my dash comes on during the latter half of the rpm range in each gear. When I shift into 3rd however the light turns off. I thought maybe that the loud muffler was resonating some sensor, but it's not. It's the same light that comes on when you pull the hand-brake. I find this very odd and I have someone coming to look a the car on saturday. Hopefully they'll buy it. Thanks fellas.

I believe this light also doubles as a fluid level warning light, check and make sure your brake fluid is topped up, I think you will findeth your problemeth when you take a peek under the bonnet.

either that or you have a loose wire if the wire connected to your ebrake has a cut or is touching metal it will sense a ground and trigger your light to come on. happened to me.

its most likely your brake fluid level... it comes on and off cuz the little bit you have is sloshing around...

Yeah I checked it this morning when I got to school. it is low. How much does that BS cost? I will be filling it after school. I'm trying to sell the beast on sat. Didn't want some kid thrashing my car to see lights pop up. Chances are he doesnt know either. Thanks guys.
