Not exactly!!

92-93 Si, have the same rotors front and rear 9.4 in 94-95 they switch to the 10.3" up front at least on the SI but don't quote me on that. I happend to have a 92 DX and a 93 SI, same brakes in the front on both model 9.4" rotors, SI rear rotors stay the same for 92-93, 9.4" as well. This is the case with the SI, on the EX specially with ABS they came with 10.4 on front. At least my 95 EX Sedan with abs did. Don't know if all EX sedan came with bigger brakes up front on all years 92-95. and also don't know if they upgraded the rear rotor as well or it stay the same 9.4".

But the 92-93 SI I have that info right I belived.

Hope this info help you, and not confused you more

Lets not start with this 'I'm smarter than you' crap. I don't know myself; so someone just read up in a helms or a haynes for this and tell the guy so this can be a helpful thread instead of a flaming one.

All EXs have 10.3" front rotors regardless of ABS.

Thats what I said, that I wasn't sure if all EX "sedan" have the same rotors, I happend to have a 92 DX, 93 SI and a 95 EX with abs. The info that I gave you on the 92-93 "SI HATCHBACK" is correct to the best of my ability.
http://www.clubcivic.com/board...jecto

I just did and upgrade/swap of brakes for my project. everything is new from rotors, brakes lines, pads, extended wheel studs. I got my stuff from summit racing and it will ask you for the year and model, how do I know about my hatchback? the easy way, measure the rotor. In my case like I said before the SI and the DX at least for the 92-93 , the front rotors are the same 9.4",the rear rotors on my 93 SI are the same sizes as the front 9.4". once again see the link above and you will see all the parts that I order. NOW for 94-95 models I don't know if the SI upgraded to bigger brakes, 10.3" as well as the EX models. In my EX sedan with abs, the rotors are big, 10.3". this is what I know about my 95 EX Sedan with ABS, I did said that I wasn't sure about the EX having big brakes from 92-95 regarless of abs or not.

So to clear and answer your question better, we are all right and yet we are all wrong.

It all depends on the year and civic model you are asking.
Once again on hatchback at least for the 92-93 models
according to my DX and SI, the front rotor is the same, 9.4"
SI being the only hatchback with rear brakes, came with the same size 9.4" on the rear as well, once again for 92-93. Dont know if it change for 94-95 so let me be clear on that.

The coupe and sedan are a little more complicated.
because you do have EX trim for both of this models, Now it seems that the EX front rotor on both, coupe and sedan are the same, 10.3" . But I don't know this info for sure I can only tell you that my 95 sedan EX with ABS has the 10.3 rotors up front. But I can't said the same for other ex models and also other trim models on the coupe and the sedan.
The same goes for Coupes and Sedans that are EX trim models that have the 1.6 vtech engine, but NOT all of them have rear disc brakes.

Like I said, it depends the Year and Trim model you have.

hope this info we are giving you is helping you!
