Brake ROTOR good deal????? help me decide

Re: Brake ROTOR good deal????? help me decide (SleeperEG6)
There is no need for slotted and vented rotors, in my opinion it's a waste of money. You can get blanks front and rear for under $100. I would get the blanks and with the money you saved a good set of pads.

Just on the price here is a comparison. I just priced stock rotors for my civic and from the dealer they were $120 approx. a piece so for four cross drilled rotors $200 is great. Also, two AEM for the front are $500.

If you are looking to upgrade your braking system do not get cross drilled rotors. Upgrade your fluid to ATE Super Blue, change out your pads to some Axxis Ultimates/Metal Masters, and go get some brand new rotors from Autozone. Get the pads and fluid through andie @ http://www.cobaltfriction.com he will hook you up if you tell him you are from honda-tech.
this setup will be more of what you want IMO. Unless you want bling with the cross drilled rotors..they are a waste.

I've heard from a few people that SynPower works well on the track, as well, FWIW. Nice alternative for those not willing to shell out a lot of cash for brake fluid... and you can get it at the local auto parts store.
