Brake question?
Alright, I have a 1995 Honda Civic Si Hatch with upgraded brakes and rotors, has Integra Calipers and Cross drilled slotted rotors FTL. Never had any problems before but suddenly the other day I drove it and the front right brake makes like a clanky sound the faster i go the faster it gets but the slow i got the slower and louder it gets, does anybody have any ideas?
Oh can someone help me on how to fix a broken stud on my rear drivers side? https://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d...i/DSC08731.jpg you cant see it too well its the rear one though |

Re: (bbandco_keevee)
The noise your actually probably hearing is your wheel bearing going bad. As for the rear; Its fairly simple; all you need to do is remove the wheel; remove the drum(i think you should still have drums) and bang out a stud; and pull one back inwith a lugnut and a few washers

Re: (pgpbubble)
also when taking off the drum make sure ebrake isn't pulled... you won't be able to get the hub off... (it happened to me and at first i couldn't figure out why i couldn;t get it off... and said wheel bearing which might be the case but check the front calipers and the front brake pads make sure that they aren't loose
i lost a break pad while driving because it wasn't clipped in right... couldn't figure out what the clanging was until i had no breaks and no more clanging |
ouch I swapped in disc's from an integra so how would i change, is it a different process
