brake prop. valve
im doing a rear disc setup on my 98 civic dx, which recently got an 2000 civic Si motor and type R trans. What i need to know is if the proportioning valve is the same for both model cars, 98 dxcoupe and 2000 civic Si.
Thanks guys, ive done little research but i think they are the same, can anyone back me up on this?
Cant wait to get back on track

Re: brake prop. valve (ZUL8R)
They probably are the same...
Our '00 Si had the same size as our 97 H/B.
But I don't understand why you would want to change the one that is on the DX anyway?

Re: brake prop. valve (KIWI)
look at it. It is either a 30/30 or a 40/40.
If not get the 40/40.
I found my 40/40 prop valve I needed for my eg off a 91 integra ls since they all had rear disc brakes. Lines are a perfect fit.

Re: brake prop. valve (ZUL8R)
I put the 99-00 si brake setup in my ek hatch. my research turned up lots of opinions but the best info i found was that the coupe needed the 99-00si or 96-00 hatch proportioning valve as those two are 40/40 (same part number as well).
