Default brake pedal is soft after new install....need help asap

I just put in Cobalt rotors and axxis ultimate pads on my car today. while i was at it, repaced my fluid with ASE super blue. I bled the brakes just like i was supposed to, but now i went out driving (very slowly) to break everything in and my pedal is soft as hell. It catches halfway down.
My question is, I pumped the brakes 5-6 times and then have my buddy release the valve, now we pumped the entire old fluid out with no air in the lines ( the MC never went below half full)
What should I do on the last bleed???? We pumped it up about 5 times and release the valve very quickly, letting the pedal go half way and then shutting it.

Is this OK, or should we push the pedal all the way to the floor and then shut it off
or shut it off when the pedal is stiff up top?

After pumping the pedal 3-5 times, make sure he is keeping pressure on the pedal while you open hte bleeder SLOWLY.

His foot will start to drop and BEFORE the pedal hits the floor close the bleeder.

Repeat for each corner.

It may be your bleeding procedure.....
Try again using the pedal travel between each opening and closing of the bleeder screw to force fluid out of the open bleeders instead of built up brake fluid pressure (3-5 pumps) like you mentioned.

**I'd have gotten brake fluid all over the place bleeding like that **

no if you open the bleeder and start pumping the pedal youre going to pull more air into the system. the prior post was correct. pump the pedal till its stiff, hold the pedal, open the bleeder. the other persons foot will go to the floor. close the bleeder. repeat. dont forget to keep filling th ebrake resevior.

first off open all your bleeders and take the cap off....this will gravity bleed the lines.once fluid comes out close the bleeder.make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level

then you start from the bleeder furthest away from the MC (rr,lr,rf,lf) thats the order you bleed them.

MAKE SURE THE MC CAP IS ON BEFORE STARTING TH"IS STEP
have a buddy hold the pedel down (dont pump it) open the bleeder screw until the pedel is all the way down...be sure to close the screw before your buddy lets his foot off the pedel.

do this until no more air comes out...about 3 times on each caliper.
be sure to check the fluid level after doing each caliper.

well guys I tried a few tricks. Today I rebled the brakes, there was small amounts of air around the calipers after driving for 30 min. This time i made sure there was no upward pedal movement to ensure that air is not in the system.
Also I cranked up on the parking brake very hard about 5-6 times to self adjust the rear shoes before i bled.
The bigest thing i believe that helped was putting my lugnuts on backwards against the rotors, this keeps a snug fit against the piston (just incase)

Anyways the brakes are the **** now!!! They stop hard as hell and have zero fade (havent taken it above 75 though)

And BTW i recommend Cobaltfriction to anyone trying to improve their brakes without a big brake kit
and I recieved my order 2 days after my order was placed!!!!!!
