i relplaced my master brake cylinder and when i brake its like i loose pressure in the brakes i bleed the brakes a few good times its a 95 vx civic and i dont know if my rear disc were upgraded to gsr or their civic ones if that matters

Did you bleed it in the proper order. If you dont you wont get a firm pedal. Get a Haynes or Helm manual for the car.

just as importantly as the proper bleeding order, is do you have an integra proportioning valve? if not, that is causing your spongy pedal feel more than anything.

havent checked the prop valve see i bought the car already with rear disc but i thought vx didnt come with rear disc but correct me if im wrong ..........and no i didnt bleed in the proper order i need to look up the order to do that

Helms manual states bleeding order as Back right, Front left, Back left, front right....because the brakes are linked diagonally.

Always start furthest away from the master cylinder, and the diaganol split should not matter but i could be wrong.. And the only problem with that tool is you can't see if you have got all the air out. Two people is always better then one.. And besides you only need a pop bottle, paperclip, and 18inchs of brakeline in place of that tool. Lol

To each his own.

The tool costs only $4, is very convenient, does not require a buddy, and prevents air return to the system. For each wheel, just pump the pedal until the bottle fills and you should be good to go.

Oh, I agree completly, I have one of those as well as a vacume bleeder. I was just being a smart ***. Lol. But I don't trust anything except the two man method on a cutomer car.. To each his own though.

Check out this product called Speed Bleeder, cutting bleeding time in minutes! I have a set for sale btw just let me know.

that bleed tool is awesome. I flushed all 4 wheels and complete brake system in 30 minutes. Still had brake fluid left over so I flushed my clutch too

alright got the problem fix it was air in the lines i did all 4 in the helms manual order thanks for everyone help
