yea 2 local shops are telling me that i should get axxis pads because they are cheap compared to ebc green stuffs and last alot longer with alot less dust so im thinking of getting those(they are about 50 bucks for the front end of my car) i have drums in the back does anyone make better pads for drums or not?

you guys are gonna have to clear something up for me. How can you seriously be into performance modifications and be worried about something as meaningless as brake dust? Do you not wash your car semi-often? I run Hawk HP+ and wash my car about once every three weeks, sure the wheels are black by then, but who gives a ****, I can stop on a dime from any speed whenever I want. I don't mean to flame, but worrying about brake dust is like contemplating which air freshner to chose at the gas station.

however rotor life IS important to me so this brings up the next topic for discussion, how are hawkhp+ on rotors? how do they compare to the greestuff, axis and carbotech?

Re: brake pad's ..what to get? (euclid)
rotor life is not great with HP+. I'll give you a rundown of my setup and you can decide for yourself. Initially my setup was on an EH Si running the aformentioned HP+ pads, 11" Brembo rotors, and CRV calipers. The car did have some major track time, plus hard street driving. After about 10 000 miles the pads were at about 50%, and the rotors as well. So under extreme circumstances it seems to be about a set of rotors per set of pads, but I have seen guys go 2 or 3 sets of pads per set of rotors. If you are worried, then go with the Hawk HPS, not as agressive, but they do brake very well (better then EBC Green Stuff).
I hope that helps you out.
