to replace your pads it is so easy. Just take off wheel and unbolt the bottome caliper bolt and lift it up and take old pads out and put new pads clamp the piston to fit it on the pads and slide caliper back on and bolt it back on. Remember to pump brakes till the become unpumpable

I just did this on my 96 Civic but I also got new blanks too.

when you said to PUMP BRAKES TILL YOU CANT PUMP NEMORE, u mean pump it from the inside of the car and press on the brakes till it gets really tight and you cant step on the brake any more right??

yes AFTER you put the new pads on, NOT while they are off.

Its simple man... like T-ro said, its that easy. Shouldn't take more then 15 minutes to have the old ones off, and thats if its your first time doing it.

Hi,
Today I did replace rotors and pads for my civic 97. Here is a good link that one of the members in this forum gave me. This link has pictures of replacing rotors and pads, so most of the instructions would not be relevant to you, However something is better than nothing and also pics explain a lot.
you need not follow some of it like removing the caliper completely etc.

http://www.hondatuningmagazine...civic/

Replacing pads is very easy, shouldn't take long at all. all you need to do is remove the caliper bolt (ofcourse removing the whell in the first place though!), lift it up, remove old pads and slap in the new pads and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps
