brake pads are good, but is making noise...help

Default brake pads are good, but is making noise...help

94 civic cx hatch. i check my pads and they are still good but they are making noise whenever i brake. normally not as much when cold but when fully warm up, its pretty loud. its like a squeal noise like how brake pads make when they are weared out. i didn't put any brake quiet squeal on because i dont know where to put it, so can anyone help??

Check if the brake pad has litlle cracks in them. And when you did your brakes, did you resurface the rotors? If you have that brake quiet sqeak, apply them on the outer (metal) of the brake pad. I hope I explained it clearly.

oh, ok. quick question, why outter? what cause the pads to squeal?? is the calipers somehow rubbing against the pads metal surface? i get what you want me to do, just curious now how things work and why..hehe
