Default Brake Pads?

Which brake pads would you suggest for my 93 Civic Si, LS Motor and 75 shot? I have stock civic brakes. I am putting new rotors and i want to know what pads should I use. I need more stopping power!

pads have little to do with stoping power.
also people seem to think that slotted/drilled rotors or whatever mean ultimate stopping power..

but really its the diameter of the rotor itself which plays a large role in how fast you stop..

all said and done.. dont waste your money. OEM

blanks with HPS pads.....Brakes a lot stronger than it did before. Might as well flush the brake fluid if it is dirty.

I voted HPS, the plus' will just be to much and tear your rotors to hell. I have the HPS and they haven't faded once yet and that is with a few autoX days on them.

the larger the rotor the greater the leverage is and the more braking torque can be generated is true to an extent. Co efficient of friction between the pad and the rotor and the clamping force the caliper can produce also play an important role in stopping; and i'd say that pad compound is important because it determines the overall braking torque generted. in other words a larger rotor offers more leverage.

while pads and rotors help, stopping power is in your tires too make sure you got good grip.
