Brake pad retainer clips keep snapping in half (poopy camera phone pic FTL)
My car: 93 civic dx hatch w/ 95 integra rs front spindle, trailing arm, 40/40 p.valve. Stock civic brake booster, 13/16 master cylinder. Earl's stainless brake lines.
I've had to replace 7 clips so far (2 clips per caliper) in only a few months. They keep snapping at the weakest/thinnest part on them (the bottom clip). I don't even use my brakes much at all. What could be causing this? They cost $5 a piece at the stealership and it is annoying having to replace them every few weeks.

Wrong pads? I'd have to see it in person to really get an idea. Why are you rolling around with larger calipers then stock with a stupid 13/16 master cylidner? not smart. Get the 15/16 master cylinder on there and you will be amazed how well those brakes work.

Re: (Hybrid93Eg)
I bought some Axxis ultimate pads for a rear disc swap. When I tried to fit them, they were so tight that I figured they would NEVER work properly, and would quickly destroy those clips. I had to bust out the grinding wheel, and grind down the tabs on the ends of each pad until they fit loose (like OEM Nissin) and slid smooth back & forth. Perhaps if you have aftermarket pads, your experiencing a similar problem that is wearing out your hardware...
The pads should slide in & out very easily. My 03 Element has quite a bit of play in the pads. So much that each time I switch direction forward/reverse, I you can hear all four pads shift in their seats when I press the brake...
Plus, lubing up the sliding surface of those clips with disc brake grease is a good idea...

Hybrid93eg: I plan on getting the 15/16th mc from a 91 civic ex in the near future. The one that is in there seems to be fine so I didn't want to replace it if it was in good mechanical condition.
94eg!: Yes, they are aftermarket autozone pads. They seem to fit pretty nicely. I got them with the spindles. I will try to lube where the pad comes in contact with the clip.
My pads have one metal tab on each pair. I put the two pads with the metal tabs on the inside of the mounting bracket(closest to the engine bay). What is the deal with the metal tab? Is this correct?

Yes the pad with metal tab goes on the engine-side of the brake assembly. This is a wear indicator. Basically once your pads get worn down, that tab comes into contact with the rotors surface. As you can imagine, it makes a horrendous noise when the brake pedal is pressed. It gets the average person to bring their car in for an inspection before the brake pads are totally gone...
