Default Brake Light Problem

Ok this is not on my car, but basically like a general electric issue. With the headlights off, both rear brake lights work fine, but when the headlights are on, the rear right brake light does not work. What would cause this kind of problem? Thanks!

Well knowing what kind of car would help a lot, but I would check all fuses and check the switch under the dashboard near the pedal and make sure it is plugged in and has continuity.

Hell, all to be safe, if there are any blown ones replace them and see if they fix the problem or blow again. Kia... Hmm... I really don't know kias at all, but the wiring above the pedals can be kicked loose pretty easily on most cars. Check all the underdash fuses and stick your head under the dash board on the driverside and see if anything is disconnected. Other than that good luck, I am going to bed.

I don't think it would be a fuse consider its working when the lights are off. I would check ground wires. but if its a kia I have no idea were they would be.
