Default Brake light in dash stays on??? HE:P!!!

well, i just did a rear disk conversion on my 2k EX, the rear disk came from a 2k SI. When the car is turned off, the brake pedal seems fine (feels just like stock) but when the car is on the pedal becomes soft, and the lbrake light stays on even though the E-brake is off. I took it out for a test drive and the braking seemed fine (brake pedal just lower like mentioned) and the light turns off for a sec when i brake hard and then it turns on again. I checked the fluid level and its fine. PLEASE some tell whats wrong and how i can fix it. Could it be that maybe i didnt bleed the brakes properly???

PLEASE HELP!!

You might need to re-adjust the parking brake.

Bleeding the brakes is really easy. I don't even follow the Helm's method because there is a much easier way of doing it, and best yet, it's only a 1 person job. Order these SpeedBleeders. On each pump, it lets old fluid out but the built-in valve won't let any air in. To simplify things further, get the $5 bleeder bag. It is an air tight bag with a 10ft tube that you hook only the bleeder screw. Very cheap and very effective.

Every car should come stock with these things.

Here's the bleeder bag. For another $6, it's worth every penny. It's also forever re-usable.

Your light will remain on if the brake fluid level is too low also.

But it sounds like you need to bleed them again.
