Default Brake issues HELP =)

ok just bought another civic, 1992 hatch

when i bought the car the brakes would go to the floor after the car is put into reverse or low idling speed and not as often when just driving

I thought it was a bad master cyl. so i dished out 50 bucks and bought one, bench bled it but same problem occures

brakes seem fine after i pump them up,and i can drive on them. but i dont feel real safe driving this car

anyone have any advice for me, id much appreciate it before i spend more money on stuff i dont need. thanks

It could be that there is still some air trapped in the hydraulic system. Try thoroughly bleeding the system:

thanks for the quick response

I was going to go ahead and bleed the brakes tomarrow just to make sure, might as well throw back shoes on it while im there, my ebrake is almost non-excistant.

Ill try that tomarrow and hope that helps, just checking to see if it was a typical honda problem or not.
