Well since your car didn't come with rear disc brakes, you will need to use the Si e-brake cables. You don't need to replace the prop valve or MC/BB if you don't want to. I upgraded to the Si MC/BB since it was a little bigger than the stock DX one.

Your 00 EX Coupe non ABS already has the same BMC and BB as the EM1. Some people swap the Prop Valve, which is what I recommend. Some don't.

Like ^^^, snag those Ebrake cables!!

Do you have ABS?

you will need the following

Rear brake assemblies
E-brake cables
rear brake lines

you do not have to upgrade MC/BB if ytou do not want to, you will have about the same braking performance as before if not a little better due to increased diameter.

The proportioning valve does NOT need to be replaced and I will continue to stand firm on this one.

^If they didn't need to be replaced why would honda have different part numbers for the si hatch and the civic ex? Honda is the king of reusing parts that are interchangeable, so why would they use another p/n if they didn't have to?

I don't know if you "need" it or not, but the EM1 has a different "Master Power Tube Assembly" (Chassis/Master Power (brake hydraulics)). The EM1 shows as PN 46402-A02-A11, while the 2000 EX Coupe non ABS shows 46402-A01-A11. Also, the prop valve is 46210-S04-902 for the EM1, and 46210-S04-962 for the 99-00 EX. Whether you "need" it or not is debatable, but I'm on the "paranoid" side that says why not go for the swap.

The Rear Stabilizer Bar, Links, Mounts, and Mount Bushings are missing from your EX. Sideskirts, Front & Rear Lower Lips, and emblems are also missing. (edit: oops, I mean the sideskirts are painted)

There are bound to be more... you can find it out there.

You're going to want a can or two of PB blaster! Soak those bolts before you try and remove them!

And be sure to load your suspension before you go after those compensator arm bolts.

Might as well do the stainless lines while you're at it! Replace the TA bushing because it's probably torn somewhere...

I did everything I could think of while I did my swap... I am ******* sick of taking **** apart twice

An ek hatch has the same prop valve as a si,
so you dont have to change that
